We should expect more of this as the campaign heats up.

....but I came away from this story with the feeling that this was initiated by a 'veteran' or a 'veteran group'.
The Republicans haven't begun to campaign, and when they do there will be no need for dirty tricks. The TRUTH will be more than enough.
Surprise photo ops, ie the carrier and dinner in Iraq, just to lighten things up might be in the making.
Not spending time and resources 'refuting', should drive the opposition up both walls.
Hang in there Dave, should get interesting.
one of the most vocal veteran groups against Kerry www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnkerry.com checked the photo when they received it and didn't post it because they could not guarantee its validity. Certainly says a lot about the credibility of what is posted on the site.

Also indicates that the woman who sent it to Ted Sampley (creator of www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnkerry.com site) says she would not have sent it to him if she had realized it wasn't real.
To be absolutely honest, it would not surprise me much at all to find that someone in the DNC was the actual originator.
Vets and vets groups would be more likely to use pictures like these:
Kerry
Kerry
Kerry
Hillary & Teddy - Religion is Immoral
Kerry & Teddy
Teddy hasn't changed much
and don't forget it was the LEADERSHIP of the DNC who started the easily proven false accusations of AWOL.
Lets hear it about the rather liberal Democrit Blakey linked to who was asserting that Bush's service credits were with a "paper unit" in Denver and you LAPPED IT UP.
There are apparently a couple of people who are saying that the particular photo is NOT the one Light thinks and reminding him that there were many others with cameras in his immediate vicinity during that period. So far just rumor but definitely food for thought.
