More clueless Liberal blathering nonsense

May 14, 2006 4:14AM PDT
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2006/5/12/123644/354

1. Want to talk about ALL of the inefficient government programs?
2. Also want to talk about welfare, SSI, medicare and trillions of dollars of other ?wasteful? programs?
3. There are no lies and NO intrusions.
4. It?s NOT illegal. We can find many more scholars that say it is legal. If it were illegal, the screeching whine of the liberal machine would have it in court already.
5. Want to find out how many people have far more access to much more personal data than this?
6. Paranoia
7. Ridiculous paranoia.
8. Google already does this.
9. Abject ridiculous paranoia.
10. Un-American ??? National security is un-American?

Discussion is locked

Why even go thare? You could get a disease...
May 14, 2006 4:55AM PDT

I remember going there in the early days of Rathergate. They were going on and on about the wingnuts being so paranoiod and wrong and how Danny would PROVE the documents were real and rub the right's faces in it, etc., etc., blah blah blah.

I would have thought after that experience hara-kiri would have been in order. Yet, still they go on lying and lying....

Not a header designed to engender rational discussion, DM.

Looks like more meaningless knee-jerk conservative blather to me -- now did that exchange really accomplish anything?

Neither is any of your stuff put up on this forum...and...

...secondly, it's called a "subject line".

- Collapse -
How long do you think a post from me saying "More clueless
May 16, 2006 12:19AM PDT

Conservative blathering nonsense" would survive? I've lately had far milder posts shut down after 3 and 1 reply respectively, and they were just quotations from the Boston Globe and some other mainstream news source.

This is the most blatant example of trolling yet, but it survives and prospers because it's on the Right side of the Forum.

Is this some new face of "Moderation"?
May 14, 2006 8:33PM PDT

The most inflammatory Moderator picking on the subject lines of members he doesn't like?

- Collapse -
you noticed that
May 15, 2006 11:28PM PDT

the special mod

- Collapse -
(NT) (NT) Did you read the link, THIS time?
May 14, 2006 8:59PM PDT
- Collapse -
(NT) (NT) Why not delete it, Dave?
May 15, 2006 7:20AM PDT
- Collapse -
We both know what would happen if he did that
May 15, 2006 10:59PM PDT

Even if another mod did it, you know what would happen.

- Collapse -
why would it need be deleted
May 15, 2006 11:32PM PDT

just because your on the recieveing end( not you per say josh) seems funny when its against blathering idiots some get upset.
wonder why

- Collapse -
Why?
May 15, 2006 11:02PM PDT

Does it violate the TOS or are you just intolerant of his point of view?

- Collapse -
I hope he's not being intolerant
May 15, 2006 11:16PM PDT

We should all be tolerant of opposing viewpoints. Someone being intolerant might.....oh......accuse Duckman of trolling or something. I'd hate to see Dan do that.

Wink

- Collapse -
(NT) (NT) Then why the call to delete?
May 15, 2006 11:18PM PDT
- Collapse -
Perhaps Dan would have been better off....
May 16, 2006 12:05AM PDT

....just telling DM to "go away."

That's much more tolerant.

- Collapse -
(NT) (NT) Not nearly as bad as suggesting a Mod delete a post.
May 16, 2006 12:18AM PDT
- Collapse -
It was a natural followup question...
May 16, 2006 3:54AM PDT

....since DK had already posted saying that he felt the subject line was inappropriate.

"Go away" wasn't a followup to any moderator's admonition.

(NT) (NT) What are you on about?

{sigh}
May 16, 2006 4:35AM PDT

Here we go again with the ''I don't know what you're talking about'' bit.

Not playing this time.

Just like last time...
May 16, 2006 4:58AM PDT

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKIHG ABOUT. I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT AND AM NOT DOING IT NOW! I RESENT YOU CALLING ME A LIAR!!!!!!

Take your "game" and shove it!

ed im supprised he didnt say you insulted him
May 16, 2006 5:18AM PDT

if you question him to often he gets outraged and says theres an insult in there some whereHappy

- Collapse -
No Mark
May 16, 2006 5:21AM PDT

I only say I've been insulted when I've been insulted. Maybe you just insult people so often you don't realize you're doing it.

- Collapse -
not so josh
May 16, 2006 5:26AM PDT

maybe you just have a guilty conscience, always crying foul when you make an outrageous statement

- Collapse -
You insult me...
May 16, 2006 5:29AM PDT

when you falsely accuse me of pretending I don't know what the @#$%&* you are talkiing about when I don't.

- Collapse -
You owe me an explanation.
May 16, 2006 6:04AM PDT

Come on, Josh.

- Collapse -
It just seems that I tend to.....
May 16, 2006 6:19AM PDT

....suddenly become incomprehensible to you. It's happened more than once, more than twice. I don't have a complicated writing style and other members haven't complained that they don't know what I'm talking about. They may have a slew of other choice words but "Huh?" isn't among them. My post seemed straightforward enough.

However I will take you on your word and apologize. I'm also willing to give this one more shot if I worded my post poorly.

Dan's post was in direct response to DK's comment about the propriety of DM's original post. It read to me as more of a rhetorical question than a request to have the post deleted.

- Collapse -
Fine...
May 16, 2006 6:28AM PDT

You made it sound like someone, most likely me, had told him to go away. So, not very clear at all. At least not to me.

There have been times, believe it or not when what you say is not all that obvious. That's when I question it. I do not pretend not to know what you are talking about.

- Collapse -
Oh, OK, I see
May 16, 2006 6:37AM PDT

The ''Go Away'' post was in another thread, and addressed to another member. I was just referring to it for comparison purposes.

Pretending to not know what the other person is talking about is not ''playing cricket'' and I would not see the point in trying to debate anyone who does it. I'll take you on your word and do my best to be clear when I post.

Now, about that ''Long and Winding Road'' single....... Jonah was right, it was an A-side, their last before the breakup as a matter of fact.

Happy

It violates the spirit of Lee's message, EdH.
May 15, 2006 11:17PM PDT

It's intended to inflame, rather than promote rational discussion. And I repeat what I've long said -- had conservatism ruled this country through its history, we'd still be a British colony, with a slave-based economy (except Britian became more liberal, too...)
