More ads on a Samsung SmartTV??? Xbox One connected to HDMI2

Just turned on my xbox one, which is connected to my HDMI2 port. After a few seconds a large ad is taking up 1/5 the left side of the 75" screen. It was for a Toyota car, and had the option to use my Samsung remote to close, or learn more.

I read about Samsung inserting ads into apps within their smart apps section, now they're just firing them randomly???

That's been kicking around for some time.

Some makers consider a smart TV an ad delivery platform. Not my thinking so every Samsung SmartTV is configured with that smart area disabled. I use a Roku and Amazing Fire TV.

Re: Ads

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Please go to Menu>Smart Features>Terms & policy > SyncPlus Privacy uncheck the box.

This should make the ads go away.
