Monitor settings with DVI-D disabled

Mar 16, 2006 10:30PM PST

I'm trying to tweak the picture on my new Dell widescreen computer monitor and adjust color and image settings, etc, but some of the menu options in the on-screen menu are greyed out and I can't make changes. I can't access Contrast, Auto Adjust, Sharpness, Position, and some others. I read somewhere that the nature of a DVI-D source is that you can't change some of these monitor settings, is that true? Seems strange I can't get to Auto Adjust, in particular.
