Question

Sep 12, 2011 5:47AM PDT

I just got DSL, and the Tech set my Monitor on Slumber when the computer is turned off. What are the pro and cons of this?

Thanks

If my computer is going to be off all night, I turn the tower AND the monitor completely off.. If I'm going to leave the computer on, I leave the tower ON at all times but I turn the monitor off after 30 minutes..

That's just my personal choice. Everyone will have a differing opinion based on their experience and the power costs and reliability in their area.

Hope this helps.
