Question

Monitor Selection Help

Aug 8, 2013 5:23AM PDT

I am currently in the market to upgrade my monitor to a 27". My price range is up to $250. Anyway, of these monitors, could anyone help me figure out which might be the best for me or how they differ?

Current Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 192-bit

1. LG EB2742V-BN Black 27" 5ms

2. LG 27EA33V Black 27" 5ms

3. Acer G276HLDbmid Black 27" 6ms (GTG) LED

4. PLANAR PXL2760MW Black 27" 3.4ms Edge-lit LED

5. ViewSonic VX2703MH-LED Black 27" 3ms LED Backlight

6. AOC e2752Vh Glossy Black Bezel 27" 2ms LED Backlight

7. Hanns-G HL272HPB Black 27" 2ms LED Backlight

Right now these are all at $250 on NewEgg, with the exception of the AOC ($200).

All of them are HDMI widescreen. Most are backlit, but one is edgelit. I believe the lower number ms, the quicker it processes, but from what I have read this is all relative to the particular monitor. Anyway, any help is most appreciated.

I go to the store to compare. There are reviews but I find the old fashioned method works for me.

As Bob Proffitt said, best to go look at them...I didn't see a Samsung on the list, that is another to look at...
