Monitor quality - HP w2408h vs. Asus MK241h

Any thoughts between these two (or even another suitable model)? The HP seems very appealing aesthetically (since it obviously will be staring at me for the next 3 or so years!) and a good compromise price-peformance-wise. The Asus seems like typical Asus top-notch product, with the benefit of its Spartan, no-nonsense looks. Most of my use will be normal school/productivity stuff, recreational photo work (mostly viewing, with some dabbling in Photoshop from time to time), and Blu-Ray.
