Monitor out of range

by kanniya / January 29, 2009 12:45 PM PST

Hi i use a HP laptop connected to a Viewsonic VG1930Wm. the laptop has a Nvidia 9600M display card. I usually connect the monitor to the laptop when @ home and used to work fine with the resolution setting of 1440x900 @ 75 hz ... for the past one hr the viewsonic has blacked out and the message says out of range H-49.3 hz and V- 60 hz.... but i am able to use the monitor if i extend the display to laptop screen but if i close the laptop screen or make it single display only i get the out of range error. any help to solve this will be appreciated.

Be conservative and use 60Hz and other resolutions for a test.
