Monitor keeps losing connection!

Hello,

I own and use two monitors:
Benq GC2870 and Benq GW2870.
Today I ran into a problem with them. I disconnected the GC2870 monitor for a couple of minutes and now, the GC2870 keeps losing connection, as soon as I connect the other one.
If only the GC2870 is connected, it works completly fine.
I can say, that the problem doesn't come from the HDMI cable in this case since I got a new one.


Both are connected to the graphics card via HDMI, but I use an adapter on one of them. (form HDMI to Display Port 1.4)

I think you knowing what graphics card I use could help:
GeForce GTX 1080

Sometimes I find I have to power down everything, unplug both PC and monitors, wait a few minutes then apply power and test again.

Hi,

adapters can be sometimes the reason of connection issues. Can you try to connect the monitor without it?
