Monitor- Hz

Sep 10, 2004 4:48AM PDT

XP Home 448 MB RAM with a new video card installed. Nvdia GeForce FX 5500 128MB. Working fine I have the option of setting the monitor Hz from 60-85Hz. (75Hz now) What would be the "best" setting? The monitor is NEC MultiSynec700+ Lower or higher?

The Hz issue depends on YOUR EYES. While I can get by with just 65 Hz on some monitors, other monitors have me move it up to 70. Some will want 75 to avoid flicker.

At one time, a Hz war broke out and we had 100 Hz displays. Sanity kicked in later with people writing "I don't see it..."
