Question

Monitor doesn't work.

I want to say sorry in advance - my english is below average but i'll try to describe whats wrong. My monitor is Samsung S22C300B. I was using it before then stopped. I've got a new computer yesterday. I plugged it to a monitor with a DVI-D cable - it didn't work. I was trying to plug it to my graphics card and motherboard - it didn't work. Then i tried to plug it to an old computer with VGA cable (monitor was plugged to this computer before and worked). It didn't work. Monitor acts like its not even plugged - nothing shows up, buttons doesnt work.

Re: monitor

If it doesn't work (especially if it doesn't work on that old PC), it might be defective. Do other monitors work?

Answer
the obvious question

Did you plug in the power cord to the monitor? Even if it's not plugged to a computer, a monitor generated splash screen at least should appear, or a notice of "no signal".
