First, with all due respect, I must always write:
DANGER - LETHAL VOLTAGES INSIDE!
Even unplugged, monitors can hold a LETHAL (that's another word for DEADLY) charge.
With that out of the way, the usual is to put a towel on the benchtop, place the monitor face down on that and look for retaining screws on the rear and undersize. A base may have to be removed to see the last one or in some models, under a sticker. The cases are now made in a clamshell or interlocking design so a small gorilla may have to be used to pry open the case.
Best of luck, and watch the professional at http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~nilshau/video/220v.mpeg

I have a hundai 17" deluxscan monitor that I wantto repair, but cannot get the case off. There appears to be some clips at each corner of the CRT, but I cannot figure out how they work. (Please note, I am capable of repairing electronic equipment, I just never encountered this case type before.)
Thanks in advance to you good souls!!
