- What does the motherboard manual say about the meaning of error codes A6 and AE?
- Since this clearly is a hardware error, start all over with only the motherboard (with the CPU and one stick of RAM) and the PSU, both out of the case. Connect keyboard if there's a 'no keyboard' error. Then at booting the BIOS should give an error message about not finding a bootable device.
Then add RAM, and if it's still OK put it back in the case.
I recently built a computer, all the parts are in place. My motherboard is an Aorus Z390 Ultra and it displayed error code A6. I had an unformatted SSD in the slot. I then installed an external hdd through USB 3 but the monitor still shows no signal and a new error code, AE, appears. I’ve tried HDMI on the graphics card and on the motherboard, and I tried the DP both slots on the graphics card and still nothing.
