Monitor Color

How do you lighten a Hewlett Packard Desktop Monitor's colors ? (with Windows XP) (Two years old) My old computer's buttons were just underneath the front part of the Monitor. I can't seem to find any buttons on this one. What do you suggest? The
general all-over colors are more intense and darker. Just want to lighten up everything. Thanks!

It probably has "On Screen" contreols

There has to be a button somewhere on the monitor [most likely three very small] that will cause the menu/settings to appear on screen.

Due to the fact that you are a legimate owner, have model and serial numbers, you can go to the HP website and sign up for a "instant Message like" discussion with an HP tech. Ask via that method if you can't find the buttons. They may be on the side of the monitor if it is an LCD type.

You might be impressed by the extent of the support information that HP has on their site.

I'm not selling HP. I make my own and wouldn't even consider buying a Dell, HP. Compaq, et al. Just find the HP site useful when I try to help a HP user.

Thank you very much, Ray. This has crossed my mind and I have gone there for help before. I WILL do that tomorrow.
