Question

Monitor affects network connection speed!

Oct 3, 2018 11:06AM PDT

Hey there, whenever I switch off my monitor my network connection increases to over 25 Mb/sec, however, when I turn it back on it goes down to ~5 Mb/sec. (I was testing the connection speed in both conditions).
This made me confused because I thought the monitor has nothing to do with the internet.
(I'm connected through electricity (2 power lines)).
Thank you for your time!

Is there another solution for this problem to manipulate the powerline?

Running new power lines sounds costly but sure.

How is your Wifi to the computer?

How strong is the Wifi to your computer? You may want to reposition your router to a more central location to improve the Wifi reception on your computer.
