I haven't heard Twit ( waiting to see video ) ,but what i t should be great. i knew the Gal woudn't disapoint
Thanks, Jasmes! I had a good time; it was sort of a treat to record in front of an audience. Plus, Tom and Veronica were right there the whole time, so it almost felt like home. ![]()
Halway through it now. Yeah, Molly is great so far. But what's with the audio quality of TWiT this week? It's never the best with half the panel on VOIP most of the time but this one is just awful.
Is it just the settings they chose to compress it this time or was it the equipment to record since they weren't in a studio. Molly??

By the end, the recording quality was sounding about par for TWiT so I think it just seemed worse than normal. I'm too used to the awesome sound of BOL ![]()
Woz was good again on this episode so I'm going to chalk that episode where he was in Vegas up to VOIP lag and not seeing peoples' reactions to know when to shut up. ![]()
All in all a great episode. Leo said he listens to BOL every day. Cool.

I find it somewhat unlikely that Leo listens to BOL every day if he can't get the title of the show right.
Hey Leo it's Buzz OUT Loud not Buzz Aloud!
Besides, with 5 podcasts plus his KFI radio gig and listening to classical on his 60G 5G would he have time for BOL every day?
Good show though. Molly was great and I'm a Patrick Norton fan.

Yeah Molly was pretty good but was a little too chatty to me. She seemed to try and dominate the show a little bit instead of going with the flow. It wasn't BOL but she still kind of acted like it was her and Tom. Oh well, just my 2 Abe Lincolns.
To be fair to Molly, that's kind of how TWiT works. If you want to get a word in edgewise, that's your only option with that crowd. Except maybe Leo who usually gives room to speak and works beautifully in the right environment - like when he was on BOL.
-Kevin S.
I love TWiT, but on some episodes, they need to use half-duplex mics. They talk over each other all the time, and sometimes have two or more conversations going at the same time. Makes it very confusing.
Molly! Glad to hear you on the TWiT podcast. Maybe you could return sometime...
Just finished listening.... good job Molly. Glad Woz didn't start rambling about lasers. Really enjoyed it.
We should get Tom and Molly on there together. Norton, Dvorak and Chang work for the same company.... so it'd be nothing new.
I just emailed Leo to tell him to keep Tom and Molly in the rotation.

I think that the show was well-organized for the first time in weeks. The topics were well-discussed by everyone at the table. Woz spoke sparingly, but what he had to say was really good. Molly fit it perfectly with everyone (was there any doubt that she wouldn't?). I DO agree that Molly and Tom wold have a lot of good stuff to contribute to the TWIT podcast. However, being a regular BOL listening, I couldn't help but feel like I was hearing Molly's opinions on the news topics all over again. In any case, a well done TWIT and an excellent contribution by Molly.
