We have to remember it's Android and just like Windows we get to re-learn a lot, install apps to help us and more. Some new users are a little put off by having to learn this and demand exacting answers but for this one, I do not own this phone. Plus where these photos land varied with OS versions and user choices.
With that out of the way I'd consider installing DROPBOX on the Android and maybe ES FILE EXPLORER to go find these and then get them over to my PC.
I don't use any of the maker's sync or PC Studios because I deal with over a dozen Android devices and it would be quite the mess if I used their system.
I have recently upgraded from W7 Home Premium to Ultimate.
I lost my Samsung PC Studio in the process and re-installed it from the CD.
I was afterwards unable to locate any photos in my phone.
I changed the receiving file to Memory from Sim Card.
Still I can find no photos.
There are 17 photos in the phone and they are visible when going to Menu/My Files/Images - in this view I can see the images that I have chosen for my Caller ID's. Clicking above on the 'My Photos' bar, I am able to see the remaining photos located in the memory card.
The PC Studio can neither see nor find any of them.
I have taken 3 photos and filed them on my Sim card. I have then taken 3 more and filed them on my memory card.
Before, with Home Premium, I was able to choose either Internal or external memory to search for the photos - that option is no longer a choice with the PC Studio re-installed on Ultimate. The PC Studio can still not find any of them.
I tried to contact Samsung Spain on the Internet, but for whatever reason, I only seem to end up in the "Locate your repair" section! (Probably my poor Spanish)
Any advice would be gratefully received!
