There may be what we call a SPEED SHOP in your town. Go there and talk to them.

Not sure where you are at with your Neon RT
by Lee Koo (ADMIN) CNET staff/forum admin / July 9, 2018 2:08 PM PDT

I would start with bolt on performance parts --simple items that you can DIY.

Items like:
-- Cold air intake
-- Performance exhaust cat back.
-- Headers.
-- Performance ECU
-- Maybe port and polished throttle body? Depending on your ability

Speed shops will cost you, but if you can do these yourself it will get you started on learning about your car before you spend the big bucks and bringing it to speed shop.

May want to check out YouTube videos on upgrading your Neon. Like this one.
