All of the sudden my tv is only recognizing hdmi 1. If I change to hdmi input 2, it still plays what's plugged into the hdmi 1 port. I tried using 2 and 3 and leaving 1 empty but then nothing comes up. I unplugged it for a few hours and that didn't work. I also held down exit to do a factor reset which also didn't work. The tv is about 5 years old and manufactured in 2009. Any suggestions?

Did you also unplug the other things too? Remember ALL UNPLUGGED. HDMI as well as power to all things. Not working? Most likely a blown HDMI port. Repair runs a few hundred around here. I'd skip that and get some auto switching HDMI thing.

I didn't power off the other device, I'll try that next. I already have a switch on order just in case. I was thinking blown ports too but I just think its weird how hdmi 2 is still playing hdmi 1. Not matter what input I switch to, hdmi 1 plays.
