Have you tried to toggle the BonusView feature (listed on p. 58 of the manual) to see if that helps?
Hi I have been having problems for some time with my Samsung Model # Bd-P2550 Blue Ray Player. It has become more and more common, but the directors in screen commentary pops up with no sound and is very difficult to shut off. I have turned it on and off and sometimes have had success turning it off and others not. It all started with the first season of True Blood. We returned it for another thinking it was the discs but found out we had the same problem with the new one.The other night Green Zone could not be shut off and I have basically thrown in the towel. I will not rent or buy Blue Ray again, or buy a new machine until there is a solution. I have read of other people on this forum having exactly the same issues so it is obviously a firmware issue, as the machine worked fine before all the updates. Now there are movies that will not play, from Paris with Love. Had to rent it in regular format, same with Green Zone. Sending it in or buying a new one is an expense I am not willing to do. Especially if it is a firmware problem, it will only surface again. I don't think I ever had a problem with an old DVD player, they were so reliable. This Blue Ray with it's Firmware updates is just asking for trouble. Is Samsung looking into these problems or because the machine is a year old it's not worth the time. (Which I hope is not the case, as that was a waste of $300). Hopefully we can get some answers for this problem as it seems it is quite a common one.
