I'm going to write you have some of the basics

But here's the thing, those web to app tools are OK but limited. You won't gain access to all the OS API that way.

My view is you approach this the way you did your web dev. You learn the platform, tools and code.

Native, Web and Hybrid apps.

To me that's not language but choices I may make early in the design.

However I am running into folk that want to make an app but never write a line of code or even a blog. That's OK. They only need more team members (folk that code.)

Answer
Native or Cross Platform?

First, you should choose what mobile app developer you want to become: Android, iOS, Windows Phone or you want a Cross Platform app.
For a Native Android app, you will need Java, for iOS - Objective C and for Windows Phone, C# is the most popular language. For Cross Platform apps you can use React Native and Python or Ruby for the backend.
I'd suggest you start with Android applications, there are more Android users in the world than any other OS.

If you are willing to invest the time.

There are folk that don't want to write code. There are new ideas called LOW CODE but for this level of app development you would have a team with graphic artists, sound engineers, musicians and more.

Are you currently a Da Vinci? That is, do you currently work in all those areas?
