Mobility Radeon X300 vs. 9600

by firewolfsm / June 18, 2005 4:47 AM PDT

I might buy a laptop, HP has two lightweight laptops that are within $50 of each other. the one with the X300 is slightly lighter and thinner, but it will need a processor upgrade to match the processor in the heavy one. i just wanted to know which graphics card will deliver more.

Then we can see if there were graphic benchmarks run on some review.

You can't figure this out by just what chip was used most of the time.

Benchmarks show:

NC6230
SYSmark Internet Content Creation (169)
Office Productivity (113)

NC6000
sysmark 2004 internet content creation 131
sysmark 2004 office productivity 108

....

The nc6230 uses new-generation components, including the Pentium M 760 (2.0 GHz) and the ATI Mobility Radeon X300 and wins the benchmarks from what I see.
