Question

Mobile Network is Deactivated When I turn on Locations

Aug 3, 2015 7:40AM PDT

Hi thanks in advance for your help.

I have a Samsung Note 3 and I have the following Issue.

When I am using google maps on mobile network, Mobile Network instantly turns off when I Turn on Location. Location works fine with WIFI. Cannot figure out what the problem is, tried fiddling around with all possible settings in my phone.

Anyone has an idea what I can do please?

Answer
For this one

I'd head back to your carrier to see if they can fix it. If not, make this your reason to return it.

For tracking I use the GPS and a tracking app when I need such a thing.

Hi thanks for your reply. I have had this phone for over 2 years now so it would be pointless returning it. It used to work fine, but once I was abroad and Restricted Mobile Network on some apps to save some money on Roaming. I reverted back every option after coming back, but this issue has arisen for some strange reason.

Then what about a factory reset.

That's a hard reset to some folk but if you hard reset to blow it back to factory condition then if there is no hardware failure it will work again. Maybe!

As patches and updates came out it is possible that they broke it.
