by perfectionist_TN-20967982583340600535619550270102 / January 7, 2006 8:10 AM PST

I am in need of an flash 1 or 2 GB MP3 player by the second week of March.

I've decided to buy one of the following:
- mobiBLU DAH-1500i (1 GB)
- Cowon iAudio U3 (1GB)
- Sandisk Sansa e250 (2GB) Shipping sometime in March.
- Sandisk Sansa c150 (2GB) Shipping sometime in March.

But which one should I choose?

Not very impressed with the mobiblu. It's small but technically pretty average.

I think the choice depends largely on your budget.

- fairly cheap, since they make their own memory
- the 250 has an SD card slot for expansion
- it supports subscription services

iAudio U3
- sound quality is great, this is the most important thing to me
- video, the screen is very small but surpisingly decent
- supports FLAC lossless audio codec
- it may support subscription services in the future, but don't rely on it

Personally, I think it's worth paying for the extra quality of the U3, but I wouldn't bother with the 1Mb and go straight for the 2Gb.
