MMORPG's freeze 5 minutes into gameplay!

by WildRhodo / July 15, 2010 11:54 PM PDT

Hello! I am WildRhodo!

I am having a problem that I can't figure out. I have two computers, a SP3 Windows XP and Mac. Every time I play any MMORPG on my XP, the game freezes up 5 minutes into gameplay. I have tried a bunch of games, including:

World of Warcraft
D&D Online

Each game freezes. It is so frustrating. Any suggestions. WoW works on my Mac so it can't be connectivity...

thanks a lot,

I don't think it is graphics -- I have several other graphics-heavy non-online games.

(if it's wireless) or anything (from firewalls via anti-virus to malware) that interferes with Internet traffic.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
