Do you have SP2? It may not be compatible yet. Try to uninstall and reinstall.

The only problem with uninstalling (besides the fact that I don't have a disc for music match jukebox, is that I get the very same message when I try to uninstall it.

How would I go about uninstalling manually? So far, I haven't found anything "fun" with XP. lol

How to uninstall manually. Not a lot of fun, not a science.

There is no magic but here's what I do.

1. Delete the directory that the target program is in. You have to use your wits and not delete such if it resides in WINDOWS!

2. Delete any shortcuts to that program from the menus.

3. Use http://www.chemtable.com/ or something like Reg Organizer to find/remove items that mention MMJB. Again, it helps to have practiced this.

Best of luck,

Bob

PS. Sometimes a program's author has a manual uninstall method or a tool to remove it. Always ask.

Bob, thanks so much! I got mmjb manually uninstalled with ease, thanks to you. Just for further info though, I tried deleting it from the directory but it wouldn't let me delete mmtask. Just had to disable mmtask to delete. Again, thank-you.....Kit

I'm sorry if I sound like such is not possible, but it is. The issue is that some want "step by step" or even "exact step by step" whereas all I can offer are guides.

Congratulate yourself since you took my input as a guide and hopped past an obstacle with a little thought!

Cheers,

Bob
