This is the Microsoft Management Console from a newer OS. You may be reading more and more about the newer OSes or run into software that could use it. 98 is now over 7 years old and in steep decline as to documentation (fading away).

I get no spyware, but I don't use Internet Explorer or Outlook Express.

Overview
MMC (Microsoft Management Console) 1.2 Release update for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 9x. This is not for Windows 2000 or later.

As far as using the Yahoo toolbar that is up to you--some like it and others hate it.

For better "spyware" protection you might consider CounterSpy (click the Specs link on the left and you will see that it is designed to work with Win 9X as well as newer versions).

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
