What exactly is the deal with mkv files? I havent got one to work yet from my usb thumbdrive. Anyone had luck making mkv files and getting them to play successfully on their machine?

Two emails to Samsung no answers yet. They have a terrible support system. Whats going on guys? how long doesi t take to open an email? You know from all the sites that report you support mkv that it doesnt work. Please disclose how you got it to work in your 'testing' phase.

spanthegnome,

I'm looking into it. I don't always have an instant answer. I'll report back as soon as I can get some solid assistance. I apologize for the inconvenience. I might suggest in the meantime making sure you have a formatted thumbdrive, Fat32, and I'll see if I can get a chart with our supported formats. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Anything new with this HD? I have two topics I am hoping to resolve. I may take player back tonight if I don't hear anything back.
