Mits WD 52725 or Sony 55WF655

Apr 18, 2005 3:45PM PDT

I am looking for some personal opinions on these two sets. I still don't know whether to go with LCD rear projection or DLP. I have been doing extensive research on both but am still torn. Im all about the picture when it comes to buying a T.V.

The only conecern I have with the Mits is the glare you get off the "anti-glare sheild" I have heard (and seen) that it is worse than the Sony LCD R/P. I just want to hear from people that actually own it.

The thing I like about the Sony is that its good out of the box. I know they dont have the 7 color adjustable wheel, but if they are that good out of the box then you dont need to adjust the colors individually.

I plan on watching a decent amount of DVD's and play some Halo 2 via XBOX. But the wife and I watch a lot of sattelite T.V.

If people have sets that are comparable to these sets (Price and Picture) I'd like to hear about it.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

both are great tv's. You can get a trim kit from Mitsu for 49.95 to help with the glare. I would go with the mistu dlp but you can't go wrong with the sony either.

I own this tv, the Mits. and me and my wife love it. I do not see the glare once I got it home, and far as a rainbow effect I have not seen that either. I dont look for it. Like the old saying goes if you ask I will tell you. Or if you look you will find. I dont look for stuff wrong with the TV. I look at the TV as I would see it and its a very nice TV. I would go with the Mits.. We love it..........
