I'm talking about today and you keep talking about yesterday.
Come into the present and put that grudge list away.
and refuse to recognize that the Reps gave/caved in to Dems over and over again, and now that Trump is President, the Dems refuse to even give him his cabinet let alone anything else, even though many of the things he wants, they were ALL FOR just a few years ago.
When YOU decide to be HONEST with your appraisal, I can get off the comparison wagon, Bob.
The Don.
Prove your claim that I trash talk the repubs.
You can't get off the comparison wagon it's part of your grudge list.
These are all YOUR statements, copy/pasted. Stop being a hypocrite about what you 'believe', what you 'think', what you 'suspect', and how you 'feel' about Republicans, let alone Trump. You are a leftist liberal Democrat through and through and you prove it over and over again. At least be honest about it.
"When the repubs passed their tax cut for the wealthy entitlement cuts where baked in.
The repubs had all the numbers right in front of them.
They could see exactly who would benefit from this.
They could not sell it as a tax cut for the wealthy so they labeled it as a tax cut for the middle class.
Giving a company a tax break if they will create jobs is a plus for the economy.
Giving a company a tax break only to have the company use the money to buy back it's stock does not do much for the economy.
Think Ryan's tax cut bill.
What do you think corps did with the big reduction in tax rates from Ryan?
Hint...buy back their stock and make the stock holders richer.
Hint/hint....stock holders are in general the wealthy.
Then the fed and tariffs jumped in and started muddying up the water.
Since you have a fairly fixed income you should be able to apply what's in Ryan's tax cut bill and get a rough idea of the outcome.
In my case the pieces of the tax cut that apply to me will not make much of difference.
Yes I might see a cut of a few hundred bucks and some would say well that's a middle class tax cut.
I can't say it's not but the bulk of that repub tax bill went upscale.
Mitch has not said a thing about what he wants to cut in detail.
He tossed it out as a broad statement.
So until he puts out some details what's to get excited about?
It's baked in to the repub's head.
Now Mitch is talking about it.
Nothing in the tax cut bill mentioned entitlement cuts.
When Mitch gets specific about what he is talking about then we get a better picture.
We are talking about Mitch and the diner and entitlement cuts.
What happened to Mitch should not have happened.
Now here you are with another anti-dem rant.
I comment about the Don and the way our tax cut bill was skewed.
I don't think I have said anything negative about the repubs in general.
The top priority In congress now is don't let the other side of the aisle look good.
I expect it and don't get upset about it.
If the shoe was on the other foot I would expect the repubs to be doing the same.
It's a crummy way to run a country. ###(even though you refuse to look at the evidence of what the Republicans did when the DEMS were in power that disproves your "if the shoe" statement)"
Saying the truth trash talking?
The tax cut bill and being skewed was not an original thought.
There have been more than a few articles written about it.
The pols who wrote this bill must have known it was skewed.
I don't much care what pols did 2/4/6 yrs ago.
That's your thing with your grudge list.
Why does it annoy you that the dems are not playing nice with the repubs today?
Is it because the repubs caved yesterday and the dems are not caving today?
Perhaps the country was not as polarized yesterday as it is today.
You've proven you can't be fair or reasonable and hide behind 'the past' with every post.
If you really believe the country wasn't polarized before, you were living in a cave in 2010 when the Tea Party protests were going on, the attacks from the left against them even within the government, and then the rioting that was encouraged by the former administration with OWS, BLM, Ferguson, Boston, etc. How's that for a 'past' grudge list?
