mistakenly removed ati related programs

I have a custom built computer with Windows XP. The other day, using the add and remove programs function on the control panel, I mistakenly removed everything with "ATI" in it (3 programs altogether). I think one was the ATI control panel, can't remember the other two, something to do with drivers I think. I can't find a log of what was removed and they aren't listed in the "System Restore" list of changes to my computer, so I assume they can't be restored that way. How can I find out what they were and get them back? My computer is working okay without them, but the scrolling visuals seem to have been affected, which makes it hard to read things and move around in documents. I found programs like "Driver Detective" on the Internet, but they want money to proceed and I don't know if they can be trusted.
Please help!
Miriam

How do I do that?

I've been trying, but so far I can't find the make and model. Any ideas?

Custom built so how was the ATI software installed originally?

Also, did you try restoring back to a previous date using System Restore? SR doesn't 'list' changes, it just offers dates back to before changes were made. However if System Restore is disabled, then that option ends there.

To get an inventory of your system, download, install and run Belarc Advisor.
