Meanejean,

The "pubole32.dll" file is part of the Microsoft Publisher program. If you've uninstalled that program, then you'll need to remove the registry entry that's making the "call" for that file. On the other hand, if you need to the file to start Publisher, then it would be best to uninstall, then reinstall Publisher. I believe each Publisher version will require a slightly different version of the file. A search on Google comes up with a variety of download sites but do that at your own risk.

Hope this helps.

Grif..If I had a Microsoft Publisher program I wasn't aware of it..I did uninstall a Borderlund Print Shop program so maybe that's where the dll was located...???..Anyway, maybe I should just remove the registry entry that 'calls' for the dll....That being, if you could give me specific info on how to do that..I don't mess with the registry at all but will if given the exact instructions...Thanks for your help...meanjean

Meanejean, First... Give Use The EXACT Error Message

...which concerns the "pubole.dll" file...please. That might help identify exactly what is occuring. Some research indicated that it also could be related to "WordArt" which is in both Publisher and other Office programs.

If you do a search on your computer, is there actually a "pubole.dll" installed anywhere?

And if you need it...:

Direct Download Link For "pubole.dll" ZIP file

Remember, I haven't tested this particular file, although I did download it and did not find any viruses related to the file.

Hope this helps and let us know more..
