buster_abby, There should be a copy of that file in your C:\Windows\System32 folder and your C:\Windows\System32\dllcache folder. Go into Folder Options>View tab and select "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)", click Apply/OK. Now open the C:\Windows\System32\dllcache folder, find the msimg32.dll file, right click it choose "Copy" then open the C:\Windows\System32 folder find an empty spot, right click and choose "Paste".

My operating system is xp and it is missing the MSIMG32.DLL file. I am unable to open my internet explorer or any other page. I need to know how to get this back on my own without having to take it to someone. I hope I can get help!!
