missing files on ME reinstall

Feb 23, 2004 6:54AM PST

I'm running a Dell lattitude and recently had to reinstall ME. I have had a few missing files such as aspi files and cannot run some software. In viewing my ME cd I have found one of the files I need but don't know how to get it on my computer in the right place. Can I just rerun ME again over the top of the one already installed or do I have to wipe clean and reinstall everything again? Any and all help appreciated. Thanks

A key item is that ASPI isn't supplied with Windows ME. You'll need to remember what you did to install that and from whom.

Find the APPLICATION that it belongs to and install that.
