And if you have a Norton Recycle Bin, clean that too.

On one of my hard drives, I'm missing more than 25 gigabytes of files. The files are still there, because they take up the space on the hard drive, but I can't find a way to access them. I think this is how they went missing:
I used this hard drive to back up my computer, but I switch to a new program for backing up, Nero BackItUp. After using the Nero program for the first time, I moved my older backups into the folder Nero created. Then on the second time of using the Nero program, the oldest back up files dissapeared, yet they are still taking up space. They are not in hidden folders either.
Is there anyway to recover them? or are they lost completly and I now have to find a way to clean up the space?
