Missing File

Missing file:"mscoree.dll"
I have Dell Diminsion 8100 and am running WindowsXP.
I'm using Norton Anti Virus 2003 and when I try to update my definitions, I get the error 'LU1848 Couldn't create callback object. Also when I run Norton Windoctor, it won't correct one problem because it say cannot access a necessary file "mscoree.dll"
I can't find this file on my hard drive. Any suggestions.
Thanks

It's a bug in Windoctor. Widely documented and here's one such writeup on this BUG in WinDoctor. It's not clear if Symantec will fix this one:

The original issue is usually caused by Norton 2003 falling out of support. It may be unsupported and the update fails.

Thanks Bob
I was going to update to Norton 2005, but it bugs me when I can't figure something out.

Check the response you have in the Virus Forum.

It details a fix noted for earlier versions of NAV.

-> Whatever you do, get a current antivirus since it's the newest threats that make the rounds.
