General discussion

missing dll file

Feb 29, 2004 7:05AM PST

Running a old 400mhz Pll in a HP kayak with win98.
I had a missing psapi.dll and was getting more and more pop-ups. So I downloaded CW Shredder and run it. No more missing dll. Then I installed norton 2003 and run a scan, found some infected files and fixed them. Went to reboot and got a missing ebckwgj.dll.
I can't find any information on this one. Has anyone seen this and fixed it?

Apparently, your "fixing them" wasn't 100%.

Boot into the boot menu (f8), do a selective boot, and try to find out which program or whatever calls this dll (which you apparently removed). This might give a clue as to what more to remove.
