Mirroring software

Mar 14, 2005 8:40AM PST

I need disk mirroring software for XP. I am thinking about Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image. Which gives the best and most reliable bang-for-the-buck? Or, what else would you reccomend?

Thanks

My choice is...

Norton GHOST v.9.0. After bought out PowerQuest, Symantec added some bell and whistle into Drive Image v.7 into GHOST v.9. With this software, a small version of Windows-look-a-like will be loaded (thru a CD-ROM) and allowing you to back-up/restore the disk image from any device you might have.

I've read a lot of reveiws and most say that Norton is more reliable but Acronis is faster/easier. I think "more reliable" is the key phrase for this type of utility. I hope that more users will give me input.

Again, Thanks
