Minolta Dimage S414 Digital Camera

I am having problems transfering my pictures to my computer. I have installed the Dimage Viewer software and drivers. When I started the Viewer and the window that should have been displayed was not displayed exactly as it is in the instruction book. The folder for camera images and the folder for new images did not show. I connected the camera to the computer via a usb. My operating system is Windows 98 SE.

Can someone give me some pointers? What am I doing wrong?

with a 'high speed' label to distinguish it. What was used to add USB to the computer? Are all or any of the USB ports functioning? Are you using a port which is functioning? Some of the ports on the USB card in my Win 98SE machine are disabled.

Having problems transfering your pictures to the computer?

In reply to: Minolta Dimage S414 Digital Camera

Simply avoid the problem, which may exist within the camera.
1. Take out the CompactFlash card.
2. Introduce the card into a compatible card reader, which has been plugged into your computer.
3. Then use either Windows software, or the Dimage Viewer software to copy the image files to the computer.
4. If you still have a problem, it may be with your USB port connection.
