Question

MiniVAN 7 Interactive Map Doesn't Work

Jun 27, 2014 12:06PM PDT

I have an IdeaTab A1000L-F for work that I don't get to bring home and don't have an admin password. The app allows you to load and map a list of contacts to visit. When I navigate to an address I should be able to touch the address bubble and get the client data to pop up. This worked great on my prior ipad with data but on these I get to execute one address and then I have to reload the page for each and every address. The tablet has wi-fi but not data. I did have a tablet that worked but that unit was taken away from me.

Unfortunately, I cannot depend on my bully boss to handle this (he wants to cause me problems).

I am fairly savvy with computers but new to smart technology. Is there a way I can download the newest version of the app or other upgrades to make it work properly? I have purchased a phone so I can download a backup app so I can do my work but it's really tough to read a map layout on a tiny phone. How do I solve this problem?

Clarification Request
I think that question is best asked of MiniVan.

It's their app so ask them how to get the latest.

MiniVan is a business app. They just refer me to management.

Tablet Users Please Help

This question doesn't require miniVAN expertise, just general tablet expertise. Thanks.

How would you fix this problem with AppX?

Maybe I need to clarify. I need to know how to make sure my tablet and software works each day independently of management.

That's a question for MiniVAN's author and company.

If this app is proprietary, that is written by your company and only used by your company then it's clear that no one could answer. But I do write apps so for me I know where to ask.

http://www.ngpvan.com/news/minivan-android has contact information, phone number and more.

Thanks but no thanks

Bob, why would I need you to give me a link to the website of the app I use daily? No matter, I have spoken with lenovo tech support and posted elsewhere where someone actually cares about answering the question. Remember the first rule of being helpful is actually wanting to make an effort. I'm just sorry I wasted three days posting here. I usually think of cnet so positively.

Why I pointed you at the author is simple.

They would be the best source for the correct answers. As an app author, once in a while I find folk looking for answers on my apps and they get frustrated so we take them back to where our support site is and maybe there is a reason you don't want to use MiniVan's own support but I would be guessing why here.

Maybe it's a pirate copy or you burned your support folk. I can't guess why here. Sorry to be a little too obvious about where the support should be.

Sorry you asked why.

Because some folk can't find this information. All sorts of folk arrive here which means that if there is any doubt then it's best to remove that doubt and I did so by supplying that link so that a) we know where the support is and b) we're sure we are talking about the right app.
