There are many factors that go into how much the DVD will hold.
1. The shooting conditions. What you are recording can take up more space.
2. The starting-stopping. The more scenes you have, the more "files" which in turn take up more space.
When they say 30 mins, that's just an estimate.
OK i use a Sony dvd cam. and it says 30 min in SP,but every time i recorded in SP(2 times so far),The total was around 25 minutes.I recorded once in HQ and it lasted about 20 min
So i wonder why is it that it lasts only 25 min even in SP ,is it possibly because i make around 10-15 cuts, like sequences(with stop/start ) during recording,or is It cause i recorded outside, during sunlight, the nature,so there were more details to capture.
Does anyone else have that problem.
So it's 30 min. only in low light or what?
