I am thinking about purchasing a mini DVD camcorder. I am looking for other opinions as to whether this is a good choice right now over the mini DV

DVD a good choice?

Go read a lot of reviews!! I feel the verdic is still out on this format. Even thought it records on a DVD the format may not playback in a regular DVD player, but must be imported to PC and then burned to regular DVD.
