Mini-DV with video (and audio ?) inputs ?

Hey all,

Looking for a mini-dv camcorder that will accept video inputs (and possible aduio inputs).

I have a "helmet/lipstick" cam that I would like to feed into a mini-dv camera in a backpack.

I have a sony trv65 that will do it (put camera in vtr mode and press the play/rec buttons on the top - it will record directly to the tape through the helmet cam).

Just looking to slim down to mini dv and have the option of digital recording.

DCR HC96 will do what you want - plus, it has a LANC port so you can use a wired "remote" for video start/stop (and zoom - though that would be a challenge with a helment cam) and stills...
