Question 23
Feb 19, 2004 11:50PM PST

Whoever wrote #23 had not bought blinds in about 30 years.

You no longer use a cord to make that adjustment, you have a plastic rod that you rotate.

If you custom order the blinds you can get that adjustment positioned on the left or right.

..

NT Cord on right raises/lowers blinds, rod on left adjusts light thru slats.

Dear Mz Lee - Why would you want to put us through this torment ;) OK, here we go ...
Feb 20, 2004 9:47AM PST

The roundabout that I fell off as a teenager was definitely going clockwise. (You had to "scream if you wanted to go faster" so they didn't hear me shouting "Help", but it was definitely going clockwise...

Pencils are interesting, cos I have a couple of "carpenter's" pencils which are actually flat (as much as they can be given that they are still wood surrounding the lead). These line up much better when running against a piece of wood as a marker, and I wouldn't part with them for the world. (I'm easy to please.) Just thought I'd throw that one in as another one from my mine of useful information Wink

Water running down the plughole clockwise or not - I know they did tons of studies about 20(?) years ago, but I didn't think they had ever come up with a definitive answer on this. Anyone?

As for fans, this is what really gets to me - I'm now gonna have to dig mine out (in the middle of winter) to run it and find out. Now that is one thing I could have lived without having to do...
