Question

Middle mouse button issue.

Mar 7, 2019 11:50AM PST

I have noticed that I can no longer middle click with my mouse, but can still scroll. I would normally just trouble shoot online, but I was unable to find any posts concerning a working scroll but a broken click (even after going as far as the fourth page of google results). Does anyone know what could have happened or any troubleshooting I can do? My mouse is clean and hasn't ever been dropped so I don't think it's the hardware.
To clarify, the mouse I am using is the commander/talon esports combo.

Try another mouse on your PC and try this mouse on another PC. Then you know if it's the mouse or your PC.

If it's the mouse, buy a new one. If it's your PC check the mouse settings in Config panel.

The cnet website itself blocks MMB scrolling. Works fine on any other site.

Maybe some setting is stopping the MMB scrolling. It's working fine for me using Chrome browser...
