Question

Mid priced camcorders that output HDMI while recording?

by fordtruck1998 / January 3, 2012 5:03 AM PST

Hi: Does anyone know where I can find a list of camcorder models that will output through the HDMI cable to an external monitor while recording? Specifically looking for camcorders in the under $600 range.

Bob
Thanks for the reply and link to the other thread. i appreciate it.
You say "most" will not do this. Is it possible you know which ones will do so?
It really does not need to be HDMI quality when monitoring the recording. Just as long as it can be seen while recording (connected to any external monitor). This feature comes in handy when the camcorder is rolling and I am not close enough to see the small viewscreen.

But the link I provided showed at least this one. Many do this but I know of no site that gives a list of such. I think the best course of action is to see what models you like at the price and then call the maker to check it if the web pages don't tell.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
