Microsoft Works8 Reminder as stopped working

Hi Everyone
For some reason my Microsft Works Reminder as stopped working I have checked in start up and wkcalrem is not in there even when a reminder as been set. I have also reinstaled works8 but still it doesnt work. Does anyone have any ideas.

One way that might work

do a search for a file named "wkcalrem.exe" (without quotes). Add that to the startup folder. I haven't used Works in many years and am not sure how if it runs from startup or the registry. You might check with msconfig to see if a box for this file has become unchecked. It's possible to edit the registry to add it but won't go there for now. Good luck.

Hi Steve your advice did help somewhat I managed to get it showing and ticked in the start up listbut it still doesnt work so its back to the drawing board thanks for your time.
