Microsoft Works Upgrade

Feb 15, 2004 4:33AM PST

Under Works 4.0a, I have been saving my data on a regular basis using PKZIP to
compress files (.WDM, .WKS, .WPS) individually by file suffix. The three ZIP files
which are created are then COPY to a Compact Flash memory card. I have not run into
any problems using PKUNZIP to reverse the process when a file is needed. Data is stored
by Works in C:\Progra~1\Msworks\Docume~1. I am preparing to upgrade to Works 6.0
on another system and have yet to discover where they are stored in the new version. Any
advice will be appreciated. OS are ME and W98SE.
