Tommy,
For a spreadsheet I would turn to Excel and leave Works behind you. But if you use the database module of Works, I hesitate to advice to switch to MS Access.
For Word it doesn't really matter, in my opinion, although I don't know the exact difference between these two versions. But, somehow, I should stick to the latest version. It doesn't seem to harm: read the answers to your previous posts.
And a free tip: before uninstalling Works, be sure your new Office applications can read all the data you want to keep. Else convert it to some format that can be read (like rtf for documents).

My computer came with Microsoft Works 2003 (includes Microsoft Word 2002). I have a need for other Office programs, so I purchased Microsoft Office 2000 Pro. Should I just uninstall all of Works & install all applications from Office? I could keep Works with Word 2002 & install everything from Office except Word 2000 & stay with my newer 2002 version. Am I better off one way or the other? Any thoughts on what Word version (2000 or 2002) is better? I'm running Windows XP Home. Thanks.
