Microsoft Word 97

Am I able to download for this web site for MIcrosoft Word to my computer? If yes How do I do this?

You can't download Word (any version) legally, but you can download something just as good that's free and legal in OpenOffice:

Microsoft Word 97 is a copyrighted work that you can buy old copies on Ebay and elsewhere. It is not available for download legally.

But the good news is the Open Office from can read, edit Word 97 files and is free to use.

It's what I use.

As indicated by the others, MS Word is commercial software and NOT in the public domain--can't download it anywhere legally.

In addition to the OpenOffice they suggested however you might consider 602PC Suite which is also freeware (or you can pay for a version if you want) and it is compatible with MS Word 97/200/and XP. This link tells you a bit about the WordProcessor and spreadsheet:
